I love traditional animation!! If you go to any of my blogging sites you'll hear me ramble on and on about cartoons. I'm not allowed to go see movies with my friends anymore because I'm constantly critique the techniques or style used, and thinking to myself about how I would have done it better.
Here's a video of the animation morph that was done in my first animation class. All the students got together and hand drew on animation paper the morph from their drawing into the next image that was drawn by a different student.
I can't post any of my animations on youtube because the resolution is so large that it doesn't fit the 100mb size restriction (any less and I get Quicktime glitches in my animation. I'd rather have no animation online than a crappy one with glitches).
I also love comic books. I guess my real dream passion would be to have my own successful graphic novel.
All throughout college I've been working on a comic strip for the Daily Texas called Twisted Lime (under the pen name Rossi M.) Hopefully I'll be able to find the time to make more strips. You can see some of the earlier strips and other little drawings on my DeviantArt account.
Right now, since about the beginning of January this year, I've been interning at Self-Assembly post production studio doing some work in Nuke and Shake. The movie I'm helping with is Geoff Marslett's movie MARS. Needless to say, I'm stoked.
